Couple celebrate 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand J. Lynn

Lorraine J. and Ferdinand J. Lynn of Getzville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner with family and friends at the Brookfield Country Club, Clarence.

Ferdinand J. Lynn married the former Lorraine J. Attea on June 14, 1947 in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Williamsville.

Ferdinand retired as a lieutenant colonel from the U.S. Army. He also retired in 1993 as president of Lynn Associates Inc., a manufacturer's representative for electrical products and industrial computer systems.

Lorraine is a graduate of D'Youville College and the former president of the D'Youville College Association board of directors. She volunteers in the community.

The couple are members of the Brookfield Country Club in Clarence, and the Holimont Ski Club in Ellicottville.

They have five children, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
