Sande Hamilton and Philip Barrett

Marilyn and Victor Hamilton of Williamsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sande Hamilton, to Philip Barrett, son of Shirley and Austin Barrett of Exeter, England.

Miss Hamilton graduated from Osbourne High School, Manassas, Va., in 1989. She received a Bachelor of Science in communications from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, Pa., in 1994. She is a corporate sales assistant at the Talking Phonebook.

Her fiance was educated at schools in London, England and has a doctorate in chemistry. He is a scientist at Praxair Corp.

A spring 2008 wedding is planned.
