Reception held in country club

Mr. and Mrs. Vinay Rajendran

Emily Sanfilippo married Vinay Rajendran in an afternoon ceremony on Sunday, May 27, 2007 in First Presbyterian Church of Buffalo. The Rev. John Long officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and David Goldstein of Williamsville. The groom is the son of Kalaiselvi and Lakshmanan Rajendran of Williamsville.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Her white strapless gown of silk and satin had a sheered empire bodice and crystal trim with a full pleated skirt in a chapel length. Her double veil was embellished with Swarovski crystals.

Kelly Sanfilippo, the bride's cousin, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Goldstein and Kristin Grosjean, sisters in-law of the bride; Rachael and Alexis Kaufman and Amanda Pecora, cousins of the bride; Arathi Goldsmith, sister of the groom and Omarlla Barnett and Juliane Gallo, friends of the bride.

Grace and Ava Goldstein, the bride's nieces, and Saleka and Ishana Shyamalan, the groom's nieces, were flower girls.

Michael Proulx, friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Ashwin Rajan, Naveen Venkatachalam and Manoj Shyamalan, cousins of the groom; Colin Goldsmith, the groom's brother in-law; Jeffrey Sanfilippo, the bride's brother; and Jesse Watts, Lawrence Obosu and Jason Santiago, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Country Club of Buffalo.

After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple are at home in Williamsville.
