tues 10-fri. 13 Old Home Days The 30th annual Williamsville-Amherst Old Home Days will kick off Tuesday, July 10 with a parade at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street. The event continues through Friday, July 13 at Island Park, behind the Amherst and Village Hall, 5565 Main St., Village of Williamsville. Old Home Days features food, rides, family fun and bands Switchback Band, 12 Pack Jack, McCarthyizm, Hit N Run and Route 66 in the beer tent. Special events include a Chiavetta's Chicken Dinner from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 11; a Bicycle Rodeo at 11 a.m. Wednesday for kids up to age 12; and the Rochez Academy of Irish Dance and the Kick N Rhythm Cloggers on Friday, July 13. There will also be a free shuttle with continuous shuttle service all week and special ride prices from noon to 4 p.m. daily for $13.

and literacy among children, and will
