Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, at Canisius College, recently inducted the following Amherst residents: Lindsay N. Hartman, Rachel A. Hessenthaler, and Brandon P. Jonas and Williamsville resident Katherine M. Wutz. The group is the national communications honor society.

Colin Mann and Jessica Lawson from Mill Middle School, Olivia Domachowski and Christopher Bradley from Transit Middle School, and Gina Paolini and Marissa Wolfe from Casey Middle School have been named the winners of the DAR Good Citizenship awards for 2007. The awards are given by the William Mills Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
