Katherine Springate, a junior at the Rochester Institute of Technology, was awarded a Nathaniel Rochester Society scholarship. She is a 2005 Williamsville North graduate and daughter of Laurie and Jim Springate.

Anthony White of Getzville was awarded the Joyce J. and John D. Milligan and Family Scholarship from the University at Buffalo's Department of History in the college of Arts and Sciences. The honor is bestowed on minority students who are dedicated to the study of history.
