Ciminelli summer market to be held Wednesdays

Ciminelli Development Company will host an outdoor market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesdays now through Sept. 12 at Centerpointe Corporate Park, 350 Essjay Road, Williamsville. Call 631-8000.

New support groups set at Harris Hill

The McGuire Group will be hosting ongoing monthly support groups for individuals caring for loved ones with Alzheimer's disease or dementia at its Harris Hill Nursing Facility, 2699 Wehrle Drive, Lancaster. The second Wednesday at 5 p.m. will be a group for daughters caring for parents with memory impairments. The third Monday at 5 p.m., will be a group for wives caring for spouses with memory impairments. The third Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., will be a group for teens who are impacted by Alzheimer's disease.

Williamsville Farmer's Market continues

The Williamsville Farmer's Market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Oct. 27 at the Williamsville Water Mill, 56 E. Crafters wanted for holiday craft show

Craft tables are available for the Williamsville PTSA Council's annual Holiday Craft Show. This year's event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2 at the Heim Elementary and Heim Middle schools. Cost is $45 per space for one day or $80 for both days. Williamsville Lions Club opens membership drive

The Williamsville Lions Club is opening their membership drive for the 2007 year. The Club provides financial assistance to many individuals and non profit organizations through various fundraising activities. Membership is open to men and women, who live or work in Amherst. 'Zumba' offered at Northeast YMCA

The Northeast Family Branch YMCA will offer, "Zumba," a workout based on Latin rhythms and dance, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays from now through Aug. 21 at the YMCA, 4433 Main St., Amherst. Classes are free for members and $50 for non-members. Call 839-2543.

Capen Walk slated at UB

The sixth annual Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk showcasing gardens in the University Heights and Eggertsville neighborhoods will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7 in the neighborhoods near the University at Buffalo South Campus on Main Street. American Legion Band to hold concerts

The American Legion Band of the Tonawandas, Post 264 will hold a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Basset Park, at Klein and Young roads. The rain site for this concert is Transit Middle School.

Registration slated at Estudio Art School

Estudio Art School, 16 Evans St. Williamsville, is accepting applications for summer art camps. Camps will be held 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 2-6, July 23-27 and Aug. 13-17. For more information, call 634-5634.

Amherst Presbyterian to hold rummage sale

The Amherst Presbyterian Church will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a $3 bag sale from 1:30 to 2 p.m., Saturday, June 30 at the church, 151 S. Youngs Road, Williamsville, across from Erie Community College. Hot dogs and beverages will be available. Call 633-4656.

The Parks Committee will hold a general park cleanup and idea sharing at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30 in Garrison Park. BFFM concert slated

Cub scouts to host hot dog sale

The Cub Scouts from Pack 455 will sell hot dogs from 10:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m Saturday and Sunday, July 7 and 8 in front of WalMart, 2055 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. The money earned will support the boys and the many activities and awards.

St. Mary's to hold vacation Bible school

St. Mary's Religious Education program will present "Son Force Kids: Special Agents" vacation Bible school for children kindergarten through sixth grade from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, July 8 through Friday, July 13. Park School to offer summer driver courses

The Park School of Buffalo will offer two driver education programs this summer with AAA Western and Central New York. The courses are offered Monday through Friday, July 5 through 30 and Aug. 1 through 24. The cost is $425 per student and students must be 16 or older and must possess a valid driver's license. Classic car show to be held July 8

The Ford Lords of Western New York will hold the 29th annual car show, with gates opening at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8 at the George F. Lamm Post, 962 Wehrle Drive, Williamsville.
