Star Wars re-enactment reported on Dalewood

Friday, June 15
+ On Sweet Home Road, five teens who were walking down the street, ripped landscaping lights from a resident's driveway.
+ A Gordon Street resident complained of an odor of gasoline after watching her landlord sneak out the back door. Police reported that bug spray was being used.
+ A group of approximately 20 juveniles were on West Chapel Woods throwing water balloons at cars.
+ A neighbor dispute was reported on Windermere Boulevard when one resident attempted to tip over a fence after another had put a tarp on it for privacy.
+ A store on Main Street reported an intoxicated female was kicking the bathroom door and walls. She left on foot toward the bus loop.
Saturday, June 16
+ On Denrose Drive, a man reported that youths threw something at his vehicle, so he chased them and had one in custody. The dad of one of the teens was handling the situation.
+ A Huxley Drive resident called police about a fox that was walking down the street from the direction of Bentham Parkway.
+ Twenty youths dancing and being loud on a front lawn were reported on Berehaven Drive. The patrol found only two youths and advised them.
+ On Newcastle Court, a group of youths were throwing fireworks in a bonfire, which caused the devices to shoot 50 feet into the air and explode. The party was advised.
+ Upon returning home, a Bucyrus Drive resident found 50 to 60 teens on his front lawn, smoking and hanging out. He stated that he had never seen any of them before, and they had dispersed.
Sunday, June 17
+ A Travers Circle resident complained that 20 youths were out front screaming and throwing water balloons. Police found only a mother and her children testing out new Super Soakers.
+ On East Saratoga Road, a man was reportedly burning "lots" of wood that was causing a strong odor of smoke in all the neighbors' houses.
+ A Beech Road resident complained that the neighbors had a party the previous night and someone threw a cigarette on the complainant's porch, causing damage.
+ A Transit Road business employee reported that a customer left a package of cocaine and a cell phone on the floor. Police had identification information to follow up on the report.
+ Customer trouble was reported at a drive-through restaurant on Maple Road. A female in a red car was reportedly refusing to move. She left prior to patrol arrival.
Monday, June 18
+ Police arrived at a Sheridan Drive store as someone was getting chased out. It was employees acting "rowdy."
+ An Ayer Road resident reported that he had been painting his mailbox and took a 35-minute break. Upon returning, his chair paintbrush and paint were gone.
+ A Covent Garden Lane resident reported that a young male was soliciting money for college and had spoken with her husband five minutes before but would not leave and is knocking on the door. He was gone when police arrived.
+ Criminal mischief was reported on Crosby Boulevard involving three teens who were shooting at cars with BB guns. The complainant took seven guns from the teens.
Tuesday, June 19
+ On Eggert Road, a woman was reportedly walking around naked from the waist up.
+ On New Road, larceny of an industrial bug zapper and extension cord was reported.
+ A medical doctor reported finding an upper denture near Ellicott Creek in Williamsville but didn't have an exact location. The item was tagged.
+ A 4-foot alligator had reportedly crawled across the entrance ramp to I-290 westbound from Sheridan Drive. The area was checked, and a box turtle was on the side of the road, but there was no sign of an alligator.
Wednesday, June 20
+ On Walton Drive, four teen males were reportedly running through the neighborhood and then threw a potted plant across the neighbor's yard. The caller also said there was a very intoxicated man walking down the street.
+ A person was on the Ellicott Creek bike path with a broken leg.
+ Getzville Fire Company and police responded to Sandelwood Drive where a girl ran into a car. She was being taken to see a doctor by her father.
+ On North Forest Road a black and white dog was standing in the middle of the street "acting confused."
Thursday, June 21
+ Police advised a group of six youths who were in the street screaming and swinging light swords on Dalewood Drive.
+ Suspicious persons were reported on Transit Road for being in a Dumpster and taking old food.
+ A Scamridge Curve resident had eggs thrown at her vehicle overnight.
