Scouts receive emblems

Eleven Cub Scouts recently completed the requirements for their respective religious emblems and received their medals at SS. Peter and Paul Church from Rev. Jerry Kopec. Earning the Parvuli Dei Medal were:

Michael Barcomb, Brandon Blatz, Jason Brick, Scott Conway, Jacob Di Stasio, James Di Stasio, Ryan Dietz, Nicholas Powell, and Robert Quebral.

James Lester earned the Light of Christ Medal.

Caleb Johnson was awarded the God and Family Medal.

The Scouts will also receive their youth religious knot at a ceremony to be held by their respective packs. Cub Scout Scott Conway is a member of Pack 619, chartered by Williamsville United Methodist Church.

Cub Scout Ryan Dietz is a member of Pack 71, chartered by the Rapids Volunteer Fire Company in Lockport.

The other Scouts are all members of Cub Scout Pack 22, which is chartered by SS. Peter and Paul Church, 5480 Main St., Williamsville.
