Amherst resident named vice president at Buffalo General Hospital

Chadha
Buffalo General Hospital recently named Sanjay Chadha of East Amherst vice president of ambulatory services and business development.

Chadha will be responsible for providing leadership, direction and support for the growth and development of multiple service lines while supporting and advancing the strategic and tactical direction of Buffalo General Hospital.

"We are very excited to welcome Sanjay Chadha back to the Buffalo General Hospital team," said Buffalo General Hospital President Michael Nagowski. "Our organization continues to experience great momentum in operations, program growth and customer satisfaction. Sanjay's energy and experience are assets we believe will bring Buffalo General ambulatory services even greater success in the future."

Chadha previously served at Buffalo General and provided leadership for several ambulatory care services throughout Kaleida Health (1996-2001). Prior to returning to Buffalo General, he served as vice president of ambulatory and transplant services for Erie County Medical Center Corporation.

"I'm looking forward to returning to Buffalo General," said Chadha. "This will be a valuable opportunity to help develop an already excellent facility into the Western New York healthcare leader that will sustain the community far into the future."

Chadha earned a master's of business administration from Canisius College. He is a member of the 2007 Class of Leadership Buffalo, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is a member and past president of Healthcare Executive Forum, Buffalo ACHE chapter.
