Couple travel to Williamsburg

Mrs. Peter G. Kennedy

Julia K. Overfield married Peter G. Kennedy in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 16, 2007 in St. John the Baptist Church, Kenmore. The Rev. Rick Reina officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jack Overfield of Amherst and the late Linda Overfield. The groom is the son of Patricia and Christopher Kennedy of Tonawanda.

She was escorted by her father.

Jackey Bennett, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Ciapa, cousin of the bride; Alex Huffman, niece of the bride; and Laura Bennett, Kim Sypniewski, Jessica Trotter and Trish Clark, all friends of the bride.

Joe Swain, a friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Tim Kennedy, brother of the groom; Jack Overfield, brother of the bride; Drew Huffman, nephew of the bride; and Jeff Morris, Dave Turpin, and Jeff Sander, all friends of the groom.

Tucker Morris, son of friends of the couple, was ring bearer.

A reception was held in the Holiday Inn on Grand Island.

After a honeymoon in Williamsburg, Va., the couple are at home in Tonawanda.
