Williamsville Farmer's Market continues

The Williamsville Farmer's Market will be held from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through Oct. 27 at the Williamsville Water Mill, 56 E. Williamsville Lions Club opens membership drive

The Williamsville Lions Club is opening its membership drive for 2007. The club provides financial assistance to many individuals and nonprofit organizations through various fundraising activities. Membership is open to men and women who live or work in Amherst. Call 691- 8170.

AYB to hold family picnic

The Amherst Youth Board will hold a family picnic hosted by Outback Steakhouse from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road. Jewish Federation Apartments barbecue set

'Zumba' offered at Northeast YMCA

Exempt firemen to hold chicken dinner

The Williamsville Exempt Fireman's Association will hold a chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 at the George F. Lamm Post, 963 Wehrle Drive, between Union and Cayuga roads. Vacation Bible School set at St. Paul's Lutheran

"Dive into the Great Bible Reef" Vacation Bible School for children age 3 through fourth grade and adults will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, June 25-29 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4007 Main St., Eggertsville. Macintosh user meeting scheduled at UB

St. Greg's race slated for June 22

St. Gregory the Great will hold its 12th annual Great Race at 7 p.m. Friday, June 22 at the church, 200 St. Gregory Court, at Maple Road. The race is a 5K, or participants can choose the one-mile walk around Bassett Park. Pre-registration is $20; the cost is $22 on race day. The Fun Walk is $12 in advance or $14 the day of the event. Capen Walk slated at university

The sixth annual Samuel P. Capen Garden Walk showcasing gardens in the University Heights and Eggertsville neighborhoods will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 7 in the neighborhoods near the University at Buffalo South Campus on Main Street. All residents are welcome to participate, and entrants will receive a 15 percent discount at Snyder Ridge Landscaping.
