Chef Challenge Camp to be held June 25-29

Erie Community College will be holding its Chef Challenge Camp 2007 for students entering seventh, eighth or ninth grade from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 25 through Friday, June 29 at ECC's North Campus, 6205 Main St., Amherst.

Students can "become a chef for a week" and prepare a new dish every day, including pasta, pizza, casseroles, sandwiches and desserts. Food and kitchen safety, food presentation, and the best ways to serve and eat food will also be covered. Students will have the opportunity to present their creations to their parents on the last day of camp.

Cost is $200 per student and includes all supplies, daily breakfast, lunch, snacks and an apron to take home.
