Bride carries locket with father's photo

Mrs. Adam J. Waite
Lindsay Jo Adamy married Adam James Waite in an early afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 16, 2007 in St. Barnabas Church, Depew. Monsignor John W. Madsen officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Paula Adamy of Lancaster and the late Jerry Adamy. The groom is the son of Barbara and Gary Waite of Rochester.

The bride was escorted by her grandfather, William Adamy.

Her white strapless organza corset gown was adorned with beaded metallic lace on the bodice, skirt and train. She wore an elbow-length veil.

A locket, containing her father's photograph, was placed in her bouquet of roses in shades of red, orange, and peach that was tied with an organza ribbon.

Kristen Sadowski, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Lauren Dombrowski, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Mangone, cousin of the bride, and Katie Ahearn, Betsy Hoffman, Laura Laramie, Katie Schweinfurth, Molly Schrantz and Kathy Allen, all friends of the bride.

Madison and Hailey Sadowski, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Jason Waite was best man for his brother. Ushers were Shaun Sadowski, brother-in-law of the bride, and Damian Bonacci, Kevin Torkington, Jason Nuzny, Justin Beach, Mark Rowland, Rob Gladwell and Mike Barone, all friends of the groom.

Foster and Evan Valle, cousins of the groom, were ring bearers. A reception was held at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, Depew. The couple are at home in Cheektowaga.
