Couple wed on anniversary of bride's parents

Elizabeth Culliton married Kevin Washo Jr. in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, June 16, 2007 - her parents' 34th wedding anniversary - in St. Mary's Church, Swormville. The Rev. Robert Yetter officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret and Dr. Phillip Culliton of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Linette Crosby of St. John's, Mich., and stepson and son of Barbara and Kevin Washo Sr. of Scranton, Pa.

The bride's ivory lace gown had a sweetheart neckline, and she wore the belt from her mother's wedding dress. She carried a bouquet of white peonies and hydrangeas.

Megan Gomez was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Alyssa Washo, the groom's sister, and Laurie Santa Lucia, Jessica Papps, Lauren Gricheck, Linda Rodriguez, Stephanie Brosnahan, Lisa Webb and Jamiee Harrigan, all friends of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Courtney and Katie Washo, sister and cousin of the groom.

Katie Culliton, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Craig Washo Jr., cousin of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Phillip and Gregory Culliton, brothers of the bride; Rafael Gomez, the bride's brother-in-law; and Andrew Peranick, Rich Dziepak, Mike McGurrin, Joe Holland, Christian Saunders, Tony Catafio, Brendan Harris and Rob Thomas, all friends of the groom.

Noel Cruz-Culliton, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception was held in the Park Country Club. After a honeymoon on the Riviera Maya in Mexico, the couple will be at home in Scranton, Pa.
