Erie County residents can now recycle computer equipment and other household electronics at no cost through Goodwill Industries of Western New York. Locations accepting materials include the Goodwill Store at the Airport Plaza located at Genesee and Union, the Goodwill Clarence Store at 4311 Transit Road, Tops at Niagara Falls Boulevard, Tops at Maple and Transit roads, Tops at Ridge and Orchard Park roads, and Tops at North Bailey and Maple. Canisius holds open house for

graduates

The Canisius College Graduate Business Programs will hold an open house for prospective graduate students at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17 in the Grupp Fireside Lounge on the second floor of the Richard E. Winter Center, 42 Student Court. Information will be provided on evening Master of Business Administration programs, professional accounting programs, and programs in communication and leadership. ECC hosts

Consumer Credit Counseling of Buffalo Inc. will provide a free "How to Survive a Layoff" seminar at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 29 at the Erie Community College Workforce Development One-Stop Center, 3176 Abbott Road in Orchard Park. The seminar will educate regular and nonregular visitors of the center on how the agency can help in times of instability while providing the education and resources they need.
