Peras mark 60 years at country club

Josephine and Joseph Pera of Amherst will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 14, 2007 with a breakfast reception for family at Transit Valley Country Club, East Amherst.

Joseph Pera married the former Josephine Rizzo on June 14, 1947 in Holy Cross Church, Buffalo.

Joseph is a retired Buffalo firefighter. Josephine is a homemaker.

The couple are members of St. Benedict's Church, Eggertsville.

They have five children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
