Bride arrives for ceremony in antique Rolls Royce
The bride is the daughter of Lorraine and Dr. William Schueler of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Rebecca and Stephen Michalovic of Williamsville. The bride was escorted by her father. The bride's gown featured a beaded bodice with an A-line skirt and train. Her elbow-length veil was accented with Swarovski crystals. She wore a Disney-inspired Swarovski crystal tiara. Her bouquet was of tropical flowers in shades of deep purple and green accented with white-rhinestone filled flowers. The maid of honor was Kellie Postlethwaite, a best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mariah Tarry and Tara Michalovic, sisters of the groom; Jill Westcott, friend of the couple; and Lisa Mariotti, friend of the bride. The best man was David LaNasa, friend of the groom. Ushers were Robert Schueler, brother of the bride, and Peter McPhillips, friend of the groom. The bride was driven to the wedding in a 1932 Rolls Royce that belongs to the groom's family. The couple left the reception at the Beaver Island Clubhouse in a Thunderbird convertible belonging to the bride's father. The couple honeymooned at Disney World, where they were engaged, and stayed in the same Disney hotel as the bride's parents on their honeymoon in 1980. |
