Anthony Glover and Amy K. Szalkowski

Patricia and Alfred Szalkowski Jr. of Kenmore announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Kristen Szalkowski, to Anthony Glover, son of Kathleen Albin of Dunkirk, N.Y., and Michael Glover of St. Louis, Mo.

Miss Szalkowski graduated from Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1996. She received a degree in special/elementary education from Gannon University in 2000 and a master's degree in literacy from Medaille College in 2004. She is assistant director of the Huntington Learning Center, Williamsville. She is associated with Who's Who of America's Teachers, Council for Exceptional Children.

Her fiance graduated from Westlake High School in Ohio in 1996. He studied liberal arts at Oneonta State College. He is a collections specialist at NCO Financial Inc., Getzville.

An October 2008 wedding is planned.
