Deborah Katz of Williamsville received a Master of Arts in Christian Education degree from Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Va.

Nicholas Meyer and April Wallden, both of Williamsville, have been named to the 2007 spring semester dean's list at the Syracuse University L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science.

Emily Luchterhand, a 2004 graduate of Williamsville South High School, has graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh.

Zachary Myrow has been named to the spring 2007 semester dean's list at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is the son of David Myrow and Susan Bundy-Myrow of Getzville.

Williams Hays and Kelly Villa of Amherst have been named to the president's list at Cortland State College for the spring 2007 semester.

Kevin Bahler, Ashley Duquette, Kathryn Dylag, Andrew Fiegl and Krista Lennox of Williamsville; Kristin Brault, Danielle Bubar, Anrielle George and Evan Jones of East Amherst; Carrie Lynn of Getzville; and Michael Mistretta, Michael Somogyi and Michelle Swanson of Amherst have been named to the dean's list at Cortland State College for the spring 2007 semester.

Mary Tyrell of Amherst was awarded the Niagara County Community College Office Technology Advisory Committee Award for academic excellence. She tied with another student for the highest quality point average in NCCC's Business Administrative Assistant program.
