Joseph Bukowski of Williamsville has been recognized for meeting a high standard of professional achievement in 2006 by New England Financial, a financial services affiliate of MetLife. He qualified for the Leaders Association, a program for top producers, as a managing associate. He is a member of BAIFA.
John A. Moscati Jr. of Williamsville recently spoke at the National Meeting of the Boy Scouts of America on the best practices for construction of capital projects. He serves on the executive board of The Greater Niagara Frontier Council, BSA, and was named the council's vice president of program.

Susette Sciandra of Amherst has been named bank officer, executive administrative assistant to the president of Waterford Village Bank. She has more than 30 years of experience in administration. Prior to joining Waterford Village Bank, she was executive assistant to the chief financial officer of a Buffalo area savings bank.
Scott W. Averill, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Independent Health in Amherst, was elected to the United Way of Buffalo & Erie County Board of Directors for a three-year term. He has more than 22 years of experience in the group and individual health-care financing field.
