PENNIES FOR PACHYDERMS -
Cantalician Center for Learning students Khadija Kebbeh, left, and Mary Tran, Angelo Corriere, Justin Kruk, Payton Hemphill and Lindsay DeBoth present a check for $304.48 to Jennifer Fields, Buffalo Zoo public relations coordinator, on May 30. For months the students at the Eggert Road school collected spare change in the elephant-shaped collection box in the main hallway. The funds raised will go toward the new elephant house at the zoo.
