On the Campus Robert Glover of Getzville was inducted into Who's Who and presented with the Dr. F. W. Delmage Pre-Medical Prize and inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at St. Lawrence University. Marc Comaratta of East Amherst was presented with the Harry Reiff Junior History Major Award at St. Lawrence University. Jennifer Porter of Williamsville was presented with the Bradley R. Evers '94 Outstanding First-Year Student Award at St. Lawrence University. Empire State College will hold public information sessions about its FORUM Management Program at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at the Beaver Hollow Conference Center, 1083 Pit Road, Java Center, and at noon Tuesday, June 26 at Niagara Frontier Center, Apple Tree Business Park, 2875 Union Road, Cheektowaga. Joseph Greco of Williamsville has graduated from Skidmore College. Lindsey Mack and Jena Klein, both of East Amherst, have graduated cum laude from Fredonia State College. Benjamin Kaufman has graduated from Amherst College in Amherst, Mass. He is the son of Drs. Elias and Madeline Kaufman of Amherst. Anne Mazzarella of East Amherst has received her doctorate of physical therapy degree from the University at Buffalo. She is the daughter of Bruce and Elizabeth Mazzarella. Gregory Nizialek has been named to the dean's list for the 2007 spring semester at Hamilton College. He is the son of Christine and Kenneth Nizialek of Getzville. Patrick Occhiuto of Williamsville has accepted membership in Golden Key International Honour Society at Geneseo State College. He is a graduate of Williamsville East High School. Graig Klein, as president of the senior class at Binghamton University, presented university president Lois DeFleur, with the senior class gift to the school during the graduation ceremony. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a graduate of Amherst Central High School. |
