Amherst, Williamsville resident receive UB awards

Several students from Amherst and Williamsville received awards at the University at Buffalo School of Management commencement ceremony on May 12.

They include:

Siddharth Sirsikar of Williamsville who won the Charles H. Diefendorf Award in Finance.

Wahono Sapurtra of Williamsville who won the Sidney N. Kahn Memorial Award for Excellence in Sales and Marketing.

Dinesh Gauri and Jingguo Wang, both of Amherst, who were the co-recipients of the Ph.D. Student Achievement Award.

Vincent LoRusso of Amherst who won the University at Buffalo Accounting Association Michael S. Dockery Memorial Senior Award.

Sudha Bommidi of Amherst who won the Dr. Marcel and Mrs. Kathryn Vinokur Award to Promote Global Understanding.

Hariom Manchiraju of Williamsville who won "The Wall Street Journal" Award for Academic Excellence by an MBA student.
