Summer camp options at Erie 1 BOCES

Registrations are being accepted for Erie 1 BOCES half-day and full-day Career Summer Camps for middle school students. The camps foster a hands-on understanding of various technical and occupational career areas.

The camps are offered at the Harkness Career & Technical Center, 99 Aero Drive, Cheektowaga from July 23 to 27 and at the Potter Career & Technical Center, 705 Potters Road, West Seneca from July 30 to Aug. 3.

The camps offered are: auto tech; auto collision repair; gingerbread house creating; engineering design; emergency room; Fabulous You - hairstyling, nails and facials; fun with digital photography; fun with publisher; Get Ready, Get Set, Lead; Nanny 911 and video production.

The cost is $95 for the half-day camp and $165 for the full-day. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Call Diane Scholl at 821-7390 for more information.
