Lisa Martinez and Joseph Jablonski

Helen and Magin Martinez of Woodridge, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Martinez, to Joseph Jablonski, son of Carol and Louis Jablonski of Lancaster.

Miss Martinez graduated from Downers Grove South High School in 1999. She received a bachelor's degree in health science from Illinois State University in 2003. She has a master's degree in administration from National Lewis University. She is a health and physical education teacher and girls volleyball coach at Hinsdale South High School, Hinsdale, Ill.

Her fiance graduated from Lancaster Central High School in 1996. He attended Buffalo State College where he studied sociology. He is office manager at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, Ill., and coaches for the Sports Performance Volleyball Program.

A July 2007 wedding is planned at St. Scholastica Church, Woodridge, Ill., followed by a reception in Ruffled Feathers. They will honeymoon in The Bahamas.
