Bride wears antique ring from grandmother

Leah Victoria Sun Wasielewski married Joseph Peter Sacaridiz in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 26, 2007, in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. The Rev. Joel Miller officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Maria Anne and Dr. Ernest Wasielewski of Orchard Park. The groom is the son of Pamela Sacaridiz of Pomona, N.Y., and Jose Sacaridiz of Bloomington, Ill.
She was escorted by her father.
The bride's strapless, Lux satin A-line gown had champagne and ivory beaded lace netting with rum lace and silver thread. It had a scalloped-edge hemline and chapel-length train. She wore an ivory fingertip-length veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses and orchids.
She also wore an antique white gold ring with aquamarine stones given to her by her grandmother.
Sarah Gloo, a friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mara Gruen and Lydia Anders, the bride's sisters, and Seshi Campbell, Gina Scarpa, Martha Allen and Stephanie Skelly, all friends of the bride.
The flower girl and boy were Oona and Ezekial Sacaridiz, the niece and nephew of the groom.
Paul Sacaridiz, the groom's brother, and Dan Richfield, a friend of the groom's, were best men. Ushers were Jeffrey Tong, the groom's brother-in-law; Mike Anders and Alex Gruen, both brothers-in-law of the bride; and Sean Keenan and Chris Mears, both friends of the groom.
Ring bearers were Michael Sobota, the bride's cousin, and Christian Tong, the groom's nephew.
A reception was held at Brierwood Country Club, Hamburg. The couple are honeymooning in Anguilla, British West Indies.
