Twinkle, twinkle little star

The sky's the limit when star gazing, wine tasting and more will be on tap when Star Lights, Drinks & Bites is held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, June 2 at the Buffalo Museum of Science, 1020 Humboldt Parkway, Buffalo.

The event will include star gazing with the Buffalo Astronomical Association, access to the museum's rooftop observatory, a wine tasting from local vineyards, live entertainment and other activities throughout the museum.

"Weather permitting, our guests will be able to view Jupiter and Saturn from museum rooftop telescopes, as well as a spectacular sunset and one-of-a-kind views of the Buffalo skyline," said Susan Lojacono, special events manager.

Guests will enjoy live jazz by the Ralph Fava Duo, dance music

by Beamin' Sounds, astrology readings, chair massages, a ticket auction, Faces of Buffalo and other celestial-themed activities.

In addition, the evening features hors d'oeuvres, dessert and coffee from local restaurants, and the "Orange Galaxy," a specialty drink created specifically for the event by Gordon's Bar.

Star Lights, Drinks & Bites is a 21-and-over event that will be held rain or shine. Presale reservations are $25 per person until June 1, and $30 the day of the event, and include a souvenir wine glass. Proceeds from the event benefit the Buffalo Museum of Science.
