Stand Advertising, in Amherst, has been selected by Glenora Wine Cellars, Inc., Dundee, N.Y., as its first advertising agency of record. Other participants are undisclosed. A $250,000 budget will include Internet advertising, Web site development and packaging.

Buffalo/Amherst Business and Professional Women will hold its annual scholarship basket auction and wine tasting "Uncork the Future" at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the Fairdale Banquet Facility, 672 Wehrle Drive. Bottles of red and white wine with the Buffalo/Amherst BPW label will be on sale for $10 per bottle. Tickets are $30 per person.
