Guagenti
Kari Guagenti has been named manager of Evans National Bank's Amherst branch at 3388 Sheridan Drive. Guagenti most recently was manager of the bank's Derby office. Prior to joining Evans National Bank, she was manager of a Five Star Bank branch.

John Chmarney, owner of The Growth Coach and Small Is Big Network, was recognized by Rep. Thomas Reynolds, R-Clarence, and Gov. Eliot Spitzer for his efforts to promote small businesses. He was given the Small Business Champion Award by the Amherst Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his mentoring young entrepreneurs.

Dr. Richard Savage, formerly of Getzville and a staff pathologist with the Millard Fillmore Hospital, was elected to the Board of Directors of the Iowa Medical Society during its annual meeting. Savage, now practicing in Des Moines, is a board-certified pathologist.

Steven I. Rubinstein has been named to the 2007 Advisory Board for Dopkins & Company, Williamsville. He is a partner in the firm's Business and Corporate Department and a member of its Health Care Practice Group. Rubinstein is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County.

Jeffrey Grossberg of Williamsville was honored at the annual meeting of Lincoln Investment Planning as Broker of the Year for the United States, for the year 2006. He has been a licensed financial representative with L&M Financial Services since 1986.

Paul P. Coolican has been named executive director of the Tennyson Court Senior Care Community in Williamsville. He has 25 years' experience in executive management at Weinberg Campus and We Care Transportation. Tennyson is run through Peregrine Health Management Company of Syracuse.
