Raymond E. Cook, former Amherst Male Glee Club member

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 26 in Christ United Methodist Church, 350 Saratoga Road, Snyder, for Raymond E. Cook, 93, of Snyder, who died Nov. 17, 2006.

Mr. Cook was a past president of Kiwanis, a member of the Masonic Lodge and was also active in his church choir. He was a member of the Amherst Male Glee Club for 35 years. A baritone soloist, he sang at 75 weddings.

Mr. Cook is survived by two daughters, Shirley Allen and Sandra McQuillan, two sons, David and Ronald, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
