Transplant support group holds meeting on cancer

The Transplant Support Group of Western New York will hold its monthly meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at the Cleveland Heights Christian Church, 4774 Union Road, Cheektowaga.

The program is titled "Know the facts about skin cancer" and will feature Linda Smith of Roswell Park.

Smith will be speaking on what skin cancer is, if one is at risk, how to prevent it and how to protect oneself from cancer.

The support group holds meetings every third Thursday of the month.
