County GOP endorses Rowles for 14th district

Erie County Republican Committee members have formally endorsed Bradley Rowles Jr. as the candidate for Erie County Legislature in the 14th District.

The district represents portions of the towns of Amherst, Cheektowaga and Tonawanda.

Rowles is a lifelong resident of the Town of Tonawanda and graduated from the Sweet Home School District in 1998.

After attending Erie Community College, Rowles graduated with a degree in secondary education from Buffalo State College in 2003. He is a substitute teacher in both the Sweet Home and Ken-Ton school districts and an assistant operator in the Town of Tonawanda Waste Water Treatment Plant.

"Having lived in Erie County all my life, this is the community where I want to stay and raise a family," Rowles said. "I know that many of my peers feel the same way, but sadly, there is often too little professional opportunity in Western New York.

"I know that with the right leadership, Erie County can again become a vibrant and prosperous community," he said. "When we elect legislators who are serious about reforming our government and fighting for the hardworking, overburdened taxpayer, we can begin to help local businesses grow and attract new business into Erie County."

Rowles is the son of Bradley A. Rowles, Town of Tonawanda superintendent of highways.
