Tessa Gregory and Andrew Kufel

Betsy Dauer of West Seneca and Mark Gregory of Charlotte, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tessa Gregory, to Andrew Kufel, son of Larry Kufel of Roanoke, Va., and the late Barbara Kufel.

Miss Gregory graduated from Lancaster High School in 1999. She is a 2004 graduate of D'Youville College, where she holds bachelor's and master's degrees in occupational therapy. She is an occupational therapist in acute care at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Va..

Her fiance graduated from Lancaster High School in 1996. He received a bachelor's degree in secondary education/mathematics from Geneseo State College in 2000. He has a master's degree in educational administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Va., where he is studying for his doctorate in the same field. He is a math teacher at Cave Spring High School, Roanoke.

A spring 2008 wedding is planned.
