Newlyweds honeymoon in Costa Rica
Kathy Romanowski married Michael Vallone in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 19, 2007 in St. Joseph Cathedral, Buffalo. Monsignor David S. Slubecky officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn and Paul Romanowski of Getzville. The groom is the son of Charles and Jane Vallone of East Aurora and the late Marlene Vallone.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Her lace A-line gown had a beaded bodice and a semi-cathedral length train with beads and embroidered lace. Her scalloped edge veil was accented with beading. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, tulips and roses.

The maid of honor was Marla Hansen, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Romanowski, sister-in-law of the bride, and Claudia Mooney, Krista Sobon and Kathy Portanka, friends of the bride.

Madison Vallone, the groom's daughter, and Maia Romanowski, niece of the bride, were flower girls.

The best man was Sandy Belsky, best friend of the groom. Ushers were Chuck Vallone, brother of the groom; Marc Romanowski, brother of the bride; and Jeff Dinehart and Dave Smith, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Niagara Falls Country Club.

The couple will be at home in Snyder after honeymooning in Costa Rica.
