Bride wears mother's crown

Elizabeth Anne Schirra married Dale Francis Vallon in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, May 19, 2007 in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Depew. The Rev. Bart W. Lipiec officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Anna C. Schirra of Depew and the late David P. Schirra. The groom is the son of Janice and Francis Vallon of Depew.

The bride was escorted by her uncle, Dr. Frank Caracciolo.

The bride wore a pearl, appliqued gown and her mother's sequin and pearl crown and veil. Her cascading white bouquet featured orchids and calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Carolyn Gullo, a friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Lipp and Melissa Pleban, friends of the bride.

The best man was Jason Gersitz, a friend of the groom. Ushers were Brian Brezowski and Gino Aloisio, friends of the groom, and Jeremy Edmiston and Jeffrey Ma- hon, friends of the bride.

A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor, Williamsville.

The couple will be at home in Las Vegas, Nev., after their honeymoon on a Hawaiian cruise.
