Board purposely stopping Wal-Mart

I am sick and tired of hearing Wal-Mart detractors spout their venom at Town Board meetings. They have no more credibility than the George W. Bush bashers who allege that he plotted the 9/11 attack.

The truth is that Wal-Mart is more important to the USA than General Motors is. This fine American company should be applauded for this proposal and assisted in its implementation.

I am also disgusted and disappointed in Town Board members who place unnecessary obstacles in the way of Wal-Mart in their plan to develop this site. A Super Center is the perfect fit for this site. Additional and broader traffic studies, drainage studies and any other environmental studies are just plain stupid and concessions to the labor unions that comprise the majority of Wal-Mart bashers.
