Williamsville resident named Nardin Academy principal

Mambretti
Nardin Academy has named Mark D. Mambretti as principal of the elementary school.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Mambretti to our Nardin family. He is uniquely qualified to head our elementary division with experience in religious education, middle school curriculum and elementary level administration," said Barbara L. Wentworth, president of Nardin Academy.

"Mark has extensive knowledge of current educational trends, a track record of improved student performance and the ability to increase student enrollment," she added.

Mambretti, of Williamsville, principal of St. Peter's Roman Catholic School since 2005,

has a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in education and school administration, both from Canisius College.

He also has master's degrees in theology and pastoral ministry from Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora.

Mambretti also is an adjunct lecturer at Niagara University and adjunct professor at Villa Maria College.

He is a member of the Board of Consulters for Catholic Central School and is a presenter for the Catechetical Certification Program. He is also a past member of the Diocesan School Restructuring Planning Committee.

Mambretti is active in many professional organizations, including the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Catholic Educators Association and the Catholic Schools Administrators Association of New York State.
