BULL, BEAR AND BRAINS
Dodge Elementary fourth-graders, from left, Adam DiDonato, Andrew White, Duke Hwang, Jocelyn Kofke, Ellis Smith and Shannon Wilk made up the first- and second-place teams in the regional competition of the Greater New York Stock Market Game. The unit, sponsored by the Foundation for Investor Education, gave pupils the chance to invest a hypothetical $100,000 in a real-time portfolio, learning economic and financial concepts. They were honored at an awards luncheon on May 14. The Dodge team of Kofke, Smith and Wilk took first place, while the team of DiDonato, White and Hwang finished second in their division.
