BPW fundraiser, auction set

Buffalo/Amherst Business and Professional Women will hold its annual scholarship basket auction and wine tasting, "Uncork the Future," at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the Fairdale Banquet Facility, 672 Wehrle Drive, near Union Road, Amherst.

The event is being held to raise money for education scholarships for women.

BPW's mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.

One of the highlights of this year's auction includes a wine tasting by Let's Do Wine of Hamburg.

Bottles of red and white wine with the Buffalo/Amherst BPW label will be on sale at the event for $10 per bottle.

Tickets are $30 per person and include hors d'oeuvres, wine tasting, carving station, dessert and auction tickets.

Reservations are prepaid by check made payable to Buffalo Amherst BPW. Mail payment to Buffalo/Amherst BPW, c/o 223 Village Park Drive, Williamsville, NY 14221 by June 1.
