Sweet Home softball beats WS West in dramatic seventh

The Sweet Home varsity softball team defeated West Seneca West, 5-4, in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Rachel Cimerman started the seventh by drawing her second walk of the day. Jessica Forti bunted her over. Jillian Reeser singled in the game-winning RBI.

Amanda Cannizzo and Kelly Weber added key hits on the day. The team walked a season-high nine times. Along with Cimerman and Weber, Heather Kolbas, Krista Prentice and Nadia Durno all scored Lady Panther runs.

Sweet Home lost three other recent games, losing 4-3 to Lancaster, 2-0 to Frontier and 7-3 to West Seneca West.
