Hockey fan upset when cable goes out, calls police

Friday, May 4
+ A town resident complained that her 15-year-old son was served alcohol while watching the hockey game at another house in town. He was drunk when she filed the complaint.
+ Someone reported finding a set of keys in the lock of a vehicle in a parking lot on Meyer Road. The keys were returned to the owner.
+ Someone called police because a duck and its ducklings were crossing Sheridan Drive. Police reported the ducks got across the street.
+ Reckless operation of a vehicle was reported on the Ellicott Creek bike path. A man drove a yellow Mustang on the path from the Pepsi Center to North Forest Road.
+ Police were called to a Main Street restaurant where a customer was throwing beer bottles.
Saturday, May 5
+ A Snyder Woods Court resident complained that a large group of teens was trying to get into a birthday party. The teens were gone when police arrived.
+ Police were called to the Harlem Road Community Center because a large group of youths was yelling and shooting off fireworks. Police found no fireworks and a group playing hide-and-seek. They were told to "keep it down."
+ A man with a cast on his arm was causing a scene in the Walker Plaza on Main Street, and was transported to the Main and Bailey bus loop.
+ Police were called to a Main Street store near the University at Buffalo South Campus about the same man with a broken wrist, who was yelling at people.
+ On Robin Road two boys were shooting ducks with a pellet gun. Police issued juvenile cards, and the guns were taken to headquarters.
+ A Niagara Falls Boulevard store reported a man in his 40s, with a red Grand Jeep Cherokee, stole 15 bags of mulch.
Sunday, May 6
+ Police were called about a fight at a Sweet Home Road bar. Reportedly a bloody person was laying by a Dumpster.
+ Reportedly a neighbor dispute on Hamilton Drive led to one neighbor grilling under the complainant's window after she asked him to move. Both parties were advised.
+ An Eggert Road residence had so much garbage on the sidewalk it was forcing pedestrians to walk in the street. No one was at the home when police responded.
+ A large riding lawn mower was reported in the roadway on North French. Police reported it was parked on the shoulder and no signs were prohibiting parking.
Monday, May 7
+ A Niagara Falls Boulevard restaurant employee called police about a blond white female wearing a white corset type top who was walking around inside the restaurant. Employees had not approached her because last time she was there she caused a scene.
+ A landlord/tenant dispute about a bee hive was reported on Transit Road. The hive was in the back of the residence and the landlord wouldn't leave the front yard.
+ An Ayrault Drive resident called police after witnessing a beagle grab meat out of a garbage can and run behind another house.
+ Police were called about a dog left in a Ford Explorer on North Bailey Avenue. When the owner was located he said he didn't think he'd be gone that long.
Tuesday, May 8
+ A broken-down vehicle was pushed onto a lawn on Transit Road, reportedly damaging the landscaping.
+ An Arielle Court resident reported that across the street a man was inside a Dumpster. Then carrying garbage bags, he headed towards Renaissance Drive. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
+ Police were called about a woman who pulled over on Youngs Road and was vomiting. She did not need medical attention and went home.
+ A man told police that he was followed by a male in the parking lot of a car dealership on Niagara Falls Boulevard. The complainant said when he got into his car the suspect gave out his license plate over a radio. The suspect was a car salesman and the lot was still open at the time.
+ A mailbox on Wyndrock Lane was shattered during the night.
Wednesday, May 9
+ A woman wearing a long winter coat with a hood was standing motionless at the corner of Sheridan and International drives. She was gone when police arrived.
+ A Bennington Road resident reported an injured rat was next to her house.
+ On Waxwing Lane the complainant stated someone was throwing debris onto her property. Police reported an 8-year-old had been playing in a mulch pile and caused the mess.
+ Ducks were reported in a pool on Deerwood Drive. The ducks "got out."
+ Attempted larceny of a tire was reported on Mount Vernon Road. The lugnuts had been taken off, but the owner had a lock on tire stopping the thieves
Thursday, May 10
+ A North Forest Road resident complained that Time Warner disconnected his cable. The complainant wanted to file trespassing or vandalism charges because he couldn't get the hockey game. He was advised it was a civil matter.
+ On Eggert Road a woman called to report she had walked by a group of youths poking at something in a blue BFIDumpster and she thought it might be another child. The youths were trying to retrieve a football that had been thrown in the Dumpster.
+ On Niagara Falls Boulevard a motorist reported a youth was sitting under a tree reading a book, and slamming his head against the tree. The complainant thought he saw blood on the tree. Police found no blood and no problem. The boy was waiting for a ride.
+ Someone reported that two young males in a vehicle were "doing something to a dead deer" on Sheridan Drive. The deer and vehicle were gone when police arrived.
