Messmers celebrate 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Messmer

Mary and Dale Messmer of East Amherst celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows on Thursday, May 10, 2007 in St. Gregory the Great Church in Williamsville, and a reception for family and friends on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at LaScala Ristorante.

Dale Messmer married the former Mary Krane on May 10, 1947 in St. Joseph Church in Erie, Pa.

Dale is a retired regional sales manager for William Wrigley Gum Co., and Mary is a retired secretary for Amherst Seniors and St. Gregory the Great Seniors.

They both enjoy bowling and golf.

The couple have four children, 12 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
