Leanne Kaczmarczyk and Joshua Hedges

Geri and Joseph Kaczmarczyk of West Seneca announce the engagement of their daughter, Leanne Kaczmarczyk, to Joshua Hedges, son of Mary and Tony Hedges of Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Miss Kaczmarczyk graduated from West Seneca West High School in 2002. She received a degree in biology from Geneseo State College in 2006. She is studying for a master's degree at Arcadia University to be a physician's assistant.

Her fiance graduated from C.W. Baker High School in 2000. He received a degree in political science from Geneseo State College in 2006. A sergeant in the Army Reserves, he served a tour of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom and is now studying for a master's degree in international relations at Syracuse University.

A December 2008 wedding is planned at the Adams Mark Hotel in Buffalo.
