Chamber of Commerce names board members

Three board members have been named to the Amherst Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors: Vincent Clark, director of government and community relations for the University at Buffalo; Christopher Lane, president of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital; and Jerry Hooven, vice president of the American Automobile Association of Western and Central New York.

"These are three key business entities that are important additions to our board," said board chairman Dennis Elsenbeck, vice president of National Grid.

Lane was recently named president of Millard Fillmore Suburban after serving in the same capacity at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda.

Clark was previously with Medaille College and before that was on the staff of former U.S. Rep. Jack Quinn.

Hooven is a 34-year employee with AAA and is responsible for the Member Services Contact Center, Emergency Roadside Service and Fleet Operations, and is currently developing AAA's first full-service auto repair facility, which will be located in Amherst.
