Meetings County hosts waste drop-off at ECC South Erie County will hold a household hazardous waste drop-off day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the Erie Community College South Campus on Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park. Acceptable items for proper disposal include automotive fluids (motor oils, gasoline, antifreeze, brake and transmission fluids), oil-based paints, paint strippers and thinners, spray paints, kerosene, lead-acid and rechargeable batteries, propane tanks or cylinders, pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals, and mercury. Residents must prove that their hazardous materials were household generated. Erie County will not accept computers, automobile tires, appliances, commercial waste or any industrial wastes at this event. Kodak CEO to speak at awards dinner The annual installation and awards dinner of the Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives will be held at 5:15 p.m. Monday, May 21 at Fanny's Restaurant, 3500 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. The event will feature speaker Jeffrey Hayzlett, chief executive officer of Eastman Kodak. Admission is $22 for students and $30 for nonmembers. There is no fee for members.
