Fronczak moves to second place on South's all-time hit list

Senior Lisa Fronczak put together six hits in 12 at-bats during the Wildcat Invitational Softball Tournament to move into second place on the Williamsville South softball all-time hit list.

Fronczak has 127 career hits, three better than Caitlin Lever's 124. Lever is having an All-American senior year at Division I Georgia Tech.

Possibly Fronczak's biggest hit came in the tournament semifinal against Frontier. With two outs in the seventh and the score tied at 1-1, she hit a line drive single that scored teammate Lauren Falzone from second to put South into the championship game against Clarence.

In the championship game, Fronczak finished with two hits and was named to the all-tournament team.
