Household hazardous waste drop set for May 12
Erie County residents can dispose of hazardous household products from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at Erie Community College North Campus, corner of Wehrle Drive and and Youngs Road.
Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day allows for the following wastes to be disposed for free.
Pesticides, fertilizers, pool chemicals - limit two gallons / 20
pounds.
Oil-based paints (no Latex), spray cans - limit 10 gallons.
Paint thinners, stripper and solvents - limit two gallons
Batteries - lead acid car and rechargeable.
Oil, antifreeze, gasoline, kerosene - limit 10 gallons
Mercury - thermometers, thermostats, elemental.
No commercial or industrial waste or computers will be accepted.
