Dunkin' Donuts manager charged with filing false report, grand larceny

Terese M. Dudek, 19, has been charged with grand larceny and filing a false police report after telling Amherst police she was robbed while making a deposit for Dunkin' Donuts.

A manager of the 55 Crosspoint Parkway location, Dudek called police at 9:45 a.m. on May 1 to report she was approached by two individuals at the Bank of America on Millersport Highway while making a $1,200 deposit.

In her report she said they pulled up alongside her, and grabbed the bag of money when she exited her vehicle.

Through questioning and an investigation, police detectives Matthew Gould, Michael Rose and Warren Olson said they found inconsistencies in Dudek's story, and charged her the same day. She is a Buffalo resident.

Police said that somewhere between Dunkin' Donuts and the bank, Dudek gave the money to two accomplices.

Also charged with grand larceny were Anthony Lamont Jr., 19, of Amherst and James J. Harris, 25, of Buffalo.
