Chris Smaczniak and Elaine Braunscheidel

Susan and Joseph Braunscheidel of East Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Elaine Braunscheidel, to Chris Smaczniak, son of Grace and Joseph Smaczniak of West Seneca.

Miss Braunscheidel graduated from Williamsville East High School in 1999. She has a degree in fashion textile technology from Buffalo State College. She is a textile technician and consultant for Bureau Veritas Consumer Product Services.

Her fiance graduated from West Seneca East High School in 1999. He has a degree in construction management from Alfred State College. He is an environmental consultant with Stohl Environmental, LLC.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
